1973 Betty Crocker Pumpkin Pie Recipe Statement Earrings

This 1973 Betty Crocker cookbook was one of the best-selling cookbooks of all time. I remember making many delicious recipes from it with my mom, especially during the holidays. When I rescused this copy from Habitat for Humanity, I knew I had to make something special out of it.

The earrings feature a chocolate chip cookie recipe, complete with all the smudges left from the original owner that only add to their charm. I hand molded the Chocolate Chip Cookies out of clay and then added a post to the back. The recipe is mounted on a vintage tin canister, which I cut down, filed, and hammered to make it smooth. I then sealed the recipe with a protective layer of resin.

These earrings are unique statement pieces and guaranteed conversation starters. They're lightweight and have a drop length of 3 inches.
